Bounty Hunter Bloods
The Bounty Hunter Bloods aka East side Bounty Hunter Blood Gang and Bounty Hunter Street Gang is a blood gang that started in 1969 in the Watts section of Los Angeles. Originally known as the Green Jackets, it is believed that Gary Barker was very influential during the Bounty Hunters' beginnings. Bobby Jack was also one of the founding members. The Bell Haven Bounty Hunters formed around 1978 to the west of Central Avenue, south of the railroad tracks.
Around 1981, Renee McGowen began the lot Bounty Hunters. Over time have formed the following subsets; Lot Boys, Block Boys, Bell Haven. Early 1980's Hooper Avenue also became a part of the Bounty Hunter family known today as Hooper Love. In the late 1980s a small section of 115th street formed their own which came to be known as the NoLine Bounty Hunters. Their main area, which is in the Nickerson Gardens housing project is 108th Street (north) to Imperial (south) between Compton Ave (east) on Central Avenue (west).
Covering an area of 6.54 square kilometers of territory, the Bounty Hunter Bloods are one of the larger Black gangs in Watts. Bounty Hunters have spread throughout the United States, with neighborhoods in the cities and greater surrounding areas of Camden, New Jersey; Newburgh, New York; Texas; Norfolk, Virginia; and Detroit, Michigan to name a few. Bounty Hunters have also expanded throughout the world such as : Dominican Republic, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Israel. Known members of the Bounty Hunter Bloods are Killa Twan, Floss P, Relly Nation, BShine, King, Rampage, Rugga, 2G Family, Pablo, Brazie,Jay Rock, Miz, Ant Dawg, Foe Gunna Breezo, Swishgang Mally, lil blac and BlackWallStreet affiliate 2Teez.
